Why do people call up at 3am with billing questions, etc…? I know there’s people who work 3rd shift and this is when they’re up (I’m one of them), but if I had a question about my bill I would wait and call during the day.
I’m not a manager. There’s nothing I can do.
They’re called [...]

I was lucky and had four days off to move. Now, it’s time for payback and I am working the schedule of doom. I won’t be off until sometime next week. IF my relief doesn’t decide to quit or get fired which I’m afraid is a very real possibility.
Anyways, I bought a Dresden Dolls CD. Love [...]

I found a community on LiveJournal about awful customers.
Customers Suck!

Wow, this brings back memories.
I used to sell Kirby vacuums several years ago. I was out of high school and didn’t fit into college. I consider Kirby to be my “backpacking around Europe” phase.
I think Kirby vacuums are good vacuums. Are they overpriced? Yes. Anything you buy direct-sales is going to be marked up.
Are their [...]

Well, Nathan’s gone back home. He should be back for Christmas but I don’t know how I’m going to afford it.
He was really good on the flights to Kansas City and slept most of the way there.
Airtran canceled my flight back home due to mechanical problems, but it worked out even better for me. They [...]

I am tired.
Haven’t been up to much.
Will probably start working 3rd shift full time after Nathan goes home.
He’ll be going home in a couple of weeks. I am sad.
Took Nathan to Hanging Rock the other day. He really enjoyed it. He got to play in the waterfalls. Of course, he fell about a dozen times.
Was [...]

I had my 90 day evaluation at work the other day. My manager actually did a full review (most other places I’ve worked they just mark down as average or above in everything).
Anyways, I got several above averages (one in appearance, no less), 1 outstanding, and 2 averages. One of those was for cheerfulness and [...]

From ABC News:
Sprint boots customers for complaining
A lot of people are upset because they feel their contract was terminated due to Sprint’s problems and mistakes. And I can see their point, to an extent.
But I’ve worked in customer service and there ARE customers who like to do nothing but complain. There have been times when [...]

So, I rode the bus to and from work for the first time today. It was okay. I was worried I was going to miss my transfer or be late for work, but nothing bad happened. Unfortunately I got my schedule today, also. There’s going to be a few days where I’ll have to call [...]

Started my new job, today. *Sigh… I don’t know how much I like it, yet. The lobby is much nicer and larger than my last job, but it’s also much more boring. No TV. No internet. The rooms on the other hand, aren’t as nice. They all have irons [...]
